Sarah Miller, LCSW
Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in both the therapy room and the medical field. Early in her career, as she encountered many patients and family members in the hospital setting, Sarah enjoyed being able to sit with them in some of their darkest moments and hold space for all of their fears, losses, anger and questions. Rather than shying away from these moments, Sarah found peace entering the sacred placed she was invited to see.
This background has given Sarah unique insight into chronic and serious health issues – experience that goes beyond typical therapy training. This allows her to connect deeply with clients facing medical trauma, caregiving burdens, and more, speaking their language and understanding their journey on a personal level.
Sarah approaches her work with curiosity, meeting clients where they are and empowering them to a more full understanding of patterned thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through this individualized approach to therapy, Sarah joins clients in their pursuit of hope and improved connection to self, others, and the world around us. Sarah offers a faith-based foundation to the therapeutic process upon client request.
Because of her ability to see beyond the surface of present circumstances, Sarah offers strength and courage to her clients, connecting them to the path toward fullness of life! Along the way, Sarah has been consistently reminded of the strength and resilience each of us has as humans. You have it in you, too!
